Made up of highly reinforced synthetic compound, Alaska High Pressure Power Steering Hoses have hose fittings that contain double – flared compression. The stringent auto industry specifications require that such hoses remain leak free following a 20 cycle cold start test run at -40⁰C. The high pressure (supply) hose carries high pressure oil from the power steering pump to the steering gear and the low pressure (return) hose brings oil from the steering gear back to the pump or its reservoir.
